What are your hobbies and interests outside of being a support worker?

Outside of work I play netball and enjoy going to the gym and going for walks along the beach as well as hanging out with family/friends

What excites you about being a disability support worker?

Having the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someones daily life

What are your special skills?

NDIS worker orientation modules, NDIS screening check, WWCC, First Aid/ CPR, Cert 3 education support, associate degree of education.   Working as a Learning Support Officer for the past 4 years has allowed me to develop strong skills in supporting individuals with diverse needs. I have gained valuable experience working with students with behavioural needs and those on the autism spectrum, allowing me to provide patient, inclusive and individualised support
